The scariest movie that I've ever witnessed is The Whaley House. This was the most scariest movie to me because of the sounds. In every horror movie there's always many points in the movie that has a pop out scene. In that pop out scene most of the times there's a big sound affect that makes the audience get scared, and in this movie there's a lot. For example the characters all go into the basement to haunt down the ghost and the ghost tries to kill the main character and there is loud sound affects to make the viewers terrified.
Something else that scares me is how realistic the characters are. In the movies they creators make the characters look extra scary. They put make up on them and they put wigs, clothing, and many other types of objects that make them more scary.
In this movie when the pop ups happen or the sound affects happen the lights turn off or they shape angles to make the audience jump. For example in this movie the characters try to communicate with the ghost. They say "Knock once if your mad" then, the ghost would knock and the house would shake, the lights would turn off, and the characters faces will get closer to the camera to show there expressions.
I saw this movie at my house at noon with my mom and my brother. I'm not a big fan of scary movies so this is the scariest I've watched so far. The reason why I wanted to watch this movie is because its based on a real house in a tourist place called "Old Town." I also wanted to watch this movie because of the tailor I saw.
